| A unique opportunity to explore north India at a pace that suits you, accompanied by enthusiastic and experienced guides with a special interest in the history and culture of the region. Travelling north from Delhi, our journey will takes us through the lush agricultural plains of the Punjab, then climbing steeply into the foothills of the Himalaya. From the Tibetan enclave of Dharamasala, home of the Dalai Lama, and Amritsar, one of the most important cities in Sikh history, to the old British outpost of Shimla there is a rich and diverse landscape to explore. Finally we will travel south to Agra to see the incomparable Taj Mahal. | ||
