Room 13 Summer School 30th June - 1st August 2008

Room 13 Summer School aims to provide creative stimulus and artistic development for people of all ages and experience.
Our International Summer School will introduce a very different way of working and should be of interest to anyone looking for new ways of thinking about the way they make art.
Open Studio Sessions are designed to follow an open plan format deliberately (un)structured to reflect the creative equality of the Room 13 environment. While we have arranged artists by age group for booking purposes, our expectation is that during the working day, all artists operate on an equal footing so that free flowing creative inter-change between groups may take place.
Artists of all ages and experience should expect to share the available working spaces at times, as well as any resources or materials provided for communal use.
For those who prefer more formal tuition we offer dedicated courses in a variety of media, including a unique introduction to contemporary arts practice.
A Residential Package is available for adult participants looking to experience a unique Artists Retreat with Room 13.
